Seat belt anchor plate for NA/NB/NC/ND Mazda Miata's. On 
vehicles like the Miata where the drivers side factory seat belt anchors to the seat itself it leaves no where to thread in an eye bolt to attach your right side lap belt when you convert it to a race car.
Many people just weld a nut to the back of a plate and then weld the plate to the transmission tunnel. We didn't think that was the best we could do, so we designed a much larger custom nut that is 1" in diameter to give significantly more surface area on the plate. The nut has a step on it that indexes the plate to make sure the nut is always centered on the plate. We also chamfered the weld side of the nut to allow for a nice clean weld with good penetration to the 12 gauge plate.
Nut and plate depth was specifically designed to allow for enough room to get a jam nut on the back side of the eye bolt. Without a jam nut it makes it hard to get the eye bolt on the proper angle for the seat belts to clip in. You want those belts pulling on the eye bolt at a specific angle and with our solution you can set that accordingly.
1/4" holes in the corners of the plate allows you to weld it or bolt it into place.
Plate comes with welded nut in place. Eye bolt and jam nut are optional and can be added via the dropdown menu.
