OEM Mazda brake master cylinder banjo fitting. Many aftermarket brake master cylinders do not match the OEM production design of the banjo bolt and banjo bolt fitting.
The OME banjo bolt fitting has a groove in the fitting and a smooth bolt. Many aftermarket fitting swap that out because it is cheaper to manufacture. Cutting an external groove in a bolt is cheaper than cutting an internal groove in a fitting. In the case of our braker pressure sensor fitting it was designed to work with the OEM (smooth) banjo bolt. If you were trying to install our brake pressure fitting with an aftermarket brake banjo bolt with the groove, you would have two parts (MC - brake pressure sensor) without a groove as well as an aftermarket banjo fitting without a groove, so essentially it will not work if you don't hava a groove on one side of the parts.
Since our brake pressure sensor has a groove in it just like the OEM bolt it replaces, you would need to make sure you have an OEM style bajo fitting with the internal groove in order for the system to work properly.
These are new OEM Mazda banjo fittings.
