Tired of not getting the AIM data unit installed in the car exaclty how you want it? Shift lights blocked by the steering wheel? We have designed and produced a fully adjustable data bracket that securely installs to the factory metal steering column bracket for the NC Miata (06-15) and RX8.
There are several brackets on the market that only mount to the external clamshell plastic housing around the steering column. The plastic housing is not strong enough, nor does it allow for any adjustability.
By intalling to the metal bracket and turn signal assembly housing underneat the plastic clamshell housing this allows us to very securely mount the largest of AIM units with complete adjustability. The outer plastic clamshell housing does go back on with minor modification.
All brackets have the following adjustment:
- 2" of Fore/Aft adjustement.
- 3/4" or vertical adjsutment.
- Forward and backward tilt adustment.
- Twist Left/Right adjustment.
The base system was designed to work with the MXS 1.2 or any AIM unit using that bolt pattern. We had lots of requests to make it work for the SOLO2 product, so we have made an adaptor plate that will allow for you to use your SOLO2 head unit.
